Actually…”Crucial” as a company is about 3 years.  So whats the plan for today…gonna hit up Lil Tokyo with the homies Alex and Richard for some ramen. Later tonight, some sushi with the girlfriend Robyn. Oh…and work on these through out the day…

If you can get your hands on one, you know that the Uni4rm Heavy Cream with its premium package , limited numbers, and price, it’s not for everyone.  If you act fast, there still may be some left at www.uni4rm.com.  Some people may not want to pay the premium price for it, so I decided to introduce a heavy cream for the mass market.  This one wont include the special packaging, tshirt, and extra goodies.  I also eliminated the SPR, did a glass bead finish for ultra smooth grinds, and added a gram to the weight.  Two colors are “Taro” and “Dexter”

Numbered #0, this heavy cream is ultra rare.  This particular yoyo was the one used in the photoshoot for the UNI4RM heavy cream T.   After the shoot, Ayanna personally autographed this yoyo.  Want a chance to own this collectible piece of history and a date with Ayanna?  This yoyo will go up for auction really soon.  Actually, I was just kidding about the date:D  Profits will be donated to the Red Cross, to help out in Haiti.

For those of you lucky enough to snatch up one of these, here is what you will get.  All logos, colors, and design were collaborated together for one amazing package.  The yoyo, tshirt, sticker, and pins are all packaged in the custom printed milk carton.  The t-shirt itself is quality.  Printed front and back on a American Apparel T in a sick purple.   Up top, is a custom woven Crucial tag, at the bottom you will find a custom woven UNI4RM tag.

The yoyo comes in a two tone purple that matches the colors of the shirt and packaging.  Laser engraved on both sides with UNI4RM and Crucial.  The string is custom hand made in a red and white cotton/poly blend.  Inside, is a Crucial groove bearing with Crucial ghost silicone stickers for response.  The Heavy Cream also comes with the “SPR” system so you can change out different responses.  Last, each package is individually hand numbered by me 0-80.

The homies at UNI4RM are having a launch party for their clothing line and website this coming friday on January 8th. Everyone is invited, but you have to be 21+ of course to come and celebrate. Crucial have been gearing up, quietly preparing for 2010. What’s in store? New releases of yoyos, spintops and a bunch of new gear. Some of the things I’ve been working on includes hats, beanies, hoodies, jackets, and new T’s. Crucial is also adding Team members who can represent the Crucial image.

The first to be released is the awaited heavy cream. I know a lot of you been hitting me up asking about the release, but I promise you it won’t be long. The guys at UNI4RM wants to make sure everything goes smoothly for the drop. This will be super limited, so don’t sleep on this.

I’ve also been getting lots of emails about the original Milk. After so many request, I decided to do a retro run of the Milk. This will be a very limited run most likely only 150 pieces worldwide. This is already in the works, I will post info when they are ready.

A team has been something I’ve been wanting to put together for a while now. It’s something that will always be in the works as fresh and new talent are discovered everyday. I found 3 guys that I feel has amazing skills and talent. I feel these guys will do a great job in representing Crucial. First I would like to congratulate Darren Kim from Denver, CO. Darren is the current National spintop champion. A new delrin spintop is currently in production for Mr. Kim. Not only is Darren good at tops, but is yoyo skills are pretty sick.
The next two great players are representing from Russia. First is Alex Sykhov. Alex is a very skilled player who’s main style is single A. Alex has some great videos which will be posted here on the blog. Congratulations to Alex for placing 10th at the Russian yoyo competition. The next player to represent for Crucial is Stepan Kosincev. Stepan will also have a presence here as well. Videos of his tricks and freestyles will soon be uploaded. Stepan’s main style of play is 3A. Congratulations Stepan for placing 2nd in the Xdivision at the Russian yoyo competition.

Yooo..I’m back! Sorry to leave you hanging.   Heads up on the Heavy Cream release. For those of you that don’t remember, the HC will first be released as a special limited edition collab with the clothing line U.N.I.4.R.M. Limited to only 80 pieces, the HC will come packaged with Heavy Cream Tshirt. Here’s a pic of me wearing it during my freestyle at the 2009 Nationals. The Tshirt features the our crucial model seen on the front page. Don’t sleep on this. BLC 2009 was a good turnout. Many of the old school legends showed up to hang out and it was great catching up. Crucial was there supporting the contest and selling shirts, Creams, and Heavy-Creams. If you weren’t able to cop something, we’ll get these products online onto our webstore eventually or visit our table next week at the World Yo-Yo Contest in Orlando, Florida. Paul and I are busy getting all our stuff ready for the contest. Hope to see all you players out there. Before I cut out, just wanted give it up for Paul winning the 3A division. Crucial baby.
