Congrations Darren on your World Title in both the fixed and bearing tip division in spin tops. I believe he is the first to win both Nationals and Worlds, one after another. Insane skills!
Stepan takes the 3A title at the JUSTyoing Pro Yo League 3:Moscow Yoyo Open. Congrats bro!
Ever since I started traveling to competitions, BAC has been one of my favorites to attend every year. Every year in May, BAC is a premiere competition that attracts the best players from around the globe. It is a fact that players who win the BAC usually go on to win National and World titles. BAC is also the place where yoyoing legend, Steve Brown introduced one of the most popular styles of yoyoing today, 5A.
This was my 10th year at BAC, yet it was my first to not compete. Even though I didn’t compete, I didn’t come home empty handed. I was given a 10 year award. It is an award given to people who has attended the BAC for 10 years. Of all my medals, I think this is now my new favorite.
Eric and Moriki of Crucial, both gave it their all did great freestyles. Here’s a pic of them with me. They can be seen rocking the 3A crown tee. Some other highlights of the competition was Jensen Kimmits single A freestyle. Look out for him at worlds. Yoyo factory also released their 2A yoyo the loop 900. Pick yourself up a set cause these things are pretty much perfection for 2A play. See you next year and so on until I get my 20 year medal.

When I think of Japan, acouple things come to mind, sushi, anime, and the best yoyo players in the world! I’m proud to announce the newest member of Team Crucial, Yuske Moriki. Not only is Moriki an amazing player, but one of the coolest down to earth guy’s I’ve ever met. Even though we don’t speak the same language, he always finds a way to make me laugh. Moriki plays just about every style of yoyoing. See you at BAC Moriki!
Not only am I feeling this feestyle, but the track choice gets my approval. Rocking the heavy cream. Keep up the good work Stepan. Single A freestyle
Here’s a yoyo that I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. Influences are taken from Buzzon’s DV8, one of my favorite throws at the time.
Diameter: 1.97″
Width: 1.59″
Weight” 67.3 gr
This is the first prototype. Has a little harmonic vibration, but this will be corrected in the next one. I wanted to experiment to see how much rim weight I could put on it. I will probably transfer some of the rim weight to the center to balance it out. Other than that, it plays really really nice. Target release will be end of May, after the Tres Leches.
Update: After going through 4 different prototype models, I perfected the design. I’m happy to say, that this is my smoothest delrin yet.
